2008 Hunting at Tent Mountain Ranch

Hunting in the rugged East Humboldt Range is a challenge for the experienced hunter as well as an experience of awe. Beauty and solitude surround you on all sides. If you like to take the mountains on foot and hunt as you go or ride horse back, 7300 acres of our private and leased lands, Forest Service lands and the Wilderness await you. Species available in this NDOW unit 101, Area 10 are: Mule Deer: bucks and does, Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goat, Mountain Lion, Sage Grouse, Hungarian Partridge and the highly prized Snow Cock.

Licenses:
Nevada Resident and out of State Licenses are available from Nevada Department of Wildlife – All big game hunts require a "draw" tag. We also offer Licensed Master Guide Hunts.

Accomodations available at the Ranch

The Lodge is reserved for hunters during peak hunting season. Three private rooms with Queen beds (roll-a-ways for each room available); four twin in the downstairs ‘Bunk House’ Gourmet Dinner each night with adult beverages; early morning country breakfast; and your favorite packed lunch. Elevation: 5800 feet. Private Library with bar, Internet and Direct TV. Hot Tub and Pool Table in the Rec Room. Nevada and African trophies to share with you.

The Cabin higher up the mountain ( 7000 feet) in the Aspens. Panoramic view of the valley and our own Lake Louise. Gourmet Kitchen, fireplace and huge deck. One queen bed and four twin in the loft. We can prepare all meals at the cabin, or just dinner if you wish. Monday night football available by request! Spike Tents sleeps four, wood stove and wood floor. Alongside the creek or up the mountain at the spring. RV Space down at the Lodge or up the mountain if weather permits and RV can negotiate mountain roads. Pitch you own tent by the creek or up the mountain. Boarding Horses: Clean spacious corrals & riding areas. Miles of high country trail riding available.
